Question 1

Do customers pay any commission fees on OneServe?

Accepted Answer

No. Customers pay 0% commission on OneServe. You only pay the transparent service rate plus applicable taxes (e.g. ₹499 + tax). We only charge a platform commission to professionals on completed jobs.

Question 2

How are OneServe professionals verified?

Accepted Answer

We thoroughly verify identity (Government ID / KYC) and service-related credentials, licenses, training certificates, and experience. We do not perform police verification, but every partner is identity and skill verified before going live.

Question 3

What is the same-gender presence safety rule?

Accepted Answer

To ensure safety and respect for all parties, professionals will only enter a home if an adult of the same gender as the service recipient is present. For example, if a female beauty service is booked, the female recipient must be present before the professional enters.

Question 4

How does the Start OTP and SOS feature work?

Accepted Answer

A service job will only start once the professional has arrived at your doorstep and you provide the secure 4-digit Start OTP. In addition, an emergency SOS button is accessible in-app 24/7 for both customers and professionals.

Question 5

Can customers view professional portfolios, ratings, and reviews?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every professional has a public profile displaying their lookbooks, past work photos, verified credentials, average star ratings, and real customer reviews from completed bookings.

Question 6

Can professionals create custom service bundles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Professionals can package multiple services together into discounted custom bundles (e.g. Bridal Glam Package, Facial + Hair Spa combo) to increase customer savings and boost pro earnings.

Question 7

Can customers verify and inspect salon products before service begins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Customers can ask to inspect all products and kits before the service starts. Professionals are required to present sealed, original products matching the exact brand stated in the booking (e.g. L'Oréal, O3+, Lotus).

Question 8

How is a service officially completed and verified?

Accepted Answer

When the service finishes, the professional uploads Before & After media proof. Then, the customer confirms completion on their app. The job is marked as done only upon customer confirmation, which deactivates the emergency SOS and opens the rating and review screen.
